
Andrea L. Nutt is a classically trained artist who paints in a style of contemporary and universal realism. Beauty within the created world motivates her subject choices, which include: landscape, still life, portraiture and especially religious and figurative themes. Her work is displayed in galleries and exhibitions between Europe and the Americas. She also accepts private commission.
Andrea began formal artistic training at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia at 14 years old. She earned a Bachelor's degree from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where she majored in Fine Art and minored in Art History. Andrea graduated at age nineteen. She is a Presidential Art Scholar and member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
Upon graduation, Andrea continued her artistic education at The Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy. There she studied and lived for four years. She also contributed to the Florence Academy as a full-time instructor. Andrea earned an Atelier Certificate in Drawing and Painting in 2004. In 2005 she returned to the United States where she established a private painting studio in the Atlanta area. Since 2007, she has been located near San Juan, Puerto Rico. Andrea is dedicated to painting with faith that fine art can communicate the qualities of transcendence that uplift humanity.
